ABOUT

I am an avid amateur photographer based in Victoria, British Columbia, as well as Calgary, Alberta. I first became interested in nature photography while on a tour in 2012 to Haida Gwaii. Since then my photographic trips have taken me into BC's interior, along the BC coast as well as into Alaska. It is in these places where I fell in love with bears and their amazing tolerance for humans while we stand for hours in salmon-filled creek beds or follow them along estuaries in small boats watching and taking thousands of photos of their every move. It is in these places as well where the beauty and peacefulness of being in the natural habitat of so many incredible animals has had its biggest impact in my understanding of just how important it is to keep these areas protected.

Although I started photography later in life, I am lucky now to have the time and ability to travel and capture images that reveal the stunning world around me. Enjoy.
